Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Coming To PlayStation 5 With Playable Yuffie

The ninja is here.

Final Fantasy VII Remake has announced its next-gen upgrade for the PlayStation 5 on June 10, 2021. However, that’s not all Square-Enix had to show off with the game. A new episode featuring Yuffie will be playable and will showcase what our favorite ninja is up to.

The trailer, which can be seen below also features graphical options like a 60 fps Performance mode and a Quality mode that will do native 4K resolution. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will also take advantage of the PlayStation 5’s faster load times and increased performance to get better and more detailed textures (we’re looking at you door).

The biggest draw to this is obviously a playable Yuffie and an addition to the story so many fans have loved. But the best part about this announcement is that it will be free for all players who own a copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake, so the graphical upgrade will not cost additional money.

However, the Episode Yuffie content will have to be purchased on the PlayStation 5 version, which we do not currently know the price of.

The game running at 60 frames per second is a huge difference and you can see it in the graphical comparison video that Square-Enix also put out.
