Today, Epic Games announced a brand new invitational series for Fortnite called the Fortnite Secret Skirmish. According to Epic’s blog post, the upcoming competition is geared toward competitive Fortnite fans and will feature top players from each Open Fortnite tournament thus far.
As the name suggests, Epic is being very secretive regarding the details of the Fortnite Secret Skirmish event. We do know that the competition will take place at an “undisclosed testing facility” on February 14 and 15. Matches will be broadcasted to Fortnite’s official channels, which will likely include YouTube and Twitch.
Beyond that, not much else is known about this covert operation from Epic. The developer encourages fans to “keep a close eye on upcoming announcements” as they trickle out new information about the event. Stay tuned to find out how to participate in the Fortnite Secret Skirmish in the weeks to come.
