Even though it’s not necessarily built as a “games machine”, there are those who enjoy playing games on a Mac. And now, users have another option to do so.
Electronic Arts have announced that it has launched its online Origin service for Mac. Although it doesn’t have a full list of games as it does over on PC, several hit titles are available for purchase, including Dragon Age II, Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, Lego Harry Potter and more. Obviously, additional games will be added in the weeks ahead.
Origin for Mac has the same great features as the PC service, including cloud saves and social networking options, and any games you buy can be used across the board, on either Mac or PC.
You can check out the service for yourself at this link. We do wish there were more games available (where’s Battlefield 3?), but it’s definitely a start if you’re looking to expand your Mac’s gaming capabilities. Oh, and get a controller if you can.
