Even though the company hasn’t really pushed too hard forward on a sequel just yet, Capcom is showing its love to Dragon’s Dogma owners.  This week at the Tokyo Game Show, the company confirmed that it’s working on a new expansion called Dark Arisen, set for release sometime in 2013.

Aside from the teaser trailer shown here, there’s not much to go on, though you can probably expect more dragons in the game.  (Duh.)  In addition, the company has also revealed some new modes that will be added to the game.  The Hard mode will be for true masters of the game, those who don’t mind spilling some of their own blood when they’re taking on enemies.  Speedrun mode will also be thrown in, challenging players to get through missions as quickly as they can.  Probably not a good idea to combine the two modes together, unless you like dying quickly…

A release date and price weren’t provided yet, but early 2013 are looking very likely, so keep that sword sharp.

You can pick up Dragon’s Dogma for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in stores now.  And you definitely should, it’s fun!
