Plenty of content is coming to PlayStation Network today, between PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, the “shmup” Sine Mora and plenty of PlayStation Plus goodies for PS Vita. But somewhere in this shuffle, you’ll want to save room for a little Doom.
Hot on the heels of the release of Doom 3: BFG Edition, Bethesda is releasing Doom Classic Complete on PSN. This package includes various games that aren’t included in the Doom 3 package, including Final Doom and The Master Levels. For those who need them, the original Doom, released in Ultimate Doom form, and Doom 2: Hell On Earth are also included. You can get the whole package for $14.99.
In addition to the full game, Final Doom also throws in a pair of mods. You can try out The Plutonia Experiment and see how you fare, and then knock out TNT Evolution, which first came out way back in 1996. Talk about taking a trip back in time.
Look for Doom Classic Complete later today, and don’t forget to pick up Doom 3: BFG Edition as well. It’s sweet, especially in 3D!
