This article covers the Hudson Refugee Camp mission of the Medical wing in The Division. Once you have completed the three missions that unlock the various wings of your base of operations, you need to start collecting supplies so you can unlock skills, talents and perks within those wings. While you can earn supplies by playing through side missions, the main story missions offer a far greater reward (usually 500 supplies compared to 60). The first major Medical wing mission is the Hudson Refugee Camp.

  • Investigate Hudson Yards.
  • Neutralize hostile Cleaners.

  • Find the Cleaner foreman.
  • Reach the crane controls.

When you reach the camp, follow the marker down the stairs to the lower level to engage in a firefight with several hostiles. The enemies in this area have flamethrowers so it’s important to keep a close eye on every enemy and take them down before they get within flamethrower range. Watch your back and sides as the enemies will try to flank you. If you run to the far right side of the area and take cover here, it’s very difficult for any of the enemies to sneak up on you.

Once the first wave is down more enemies will spawn with over-shields. Take them out then follow the guiding line to the train cars. Watch out as you approach the cars because there are explosives just outside and throughout the train cars. If you get too close they will explode inflicting significant damage. Shoot them from a distance and wait until the flames disperse before you continue. If you selected Pulse as a skill you can detect these bombs from a distance.

Slowly work your way through the subway cars, taking out the enemies as you come by them and watching carefully for more explosives. Once again, having the Pulse skill helps considerably in this area to let you know when both enemies and explosives are nearby.

Clear all of the hostile enemies then head through the homeless area to find even more hostiles on the far side. Once they’re taken care of head up the stairs and finally up the ladder at the end. Continue down the far side to engage more hostiles in the adjacent area. These enemies will use automated turrets, so be ready to take cover. It’s best to take out the turrets, then quickly take out the human enemies. If you let the human enemies linger, they will place another turret.

Finish off any remaining Cleaners, then search for the foreman. This will lead you around the area and to a set of covered crates that create a makeshift stairway to the platform above. To the left of these makeshift stairs is an ammo crate to restock your ammunition. To the right is a loot crate with a few items.

Collect the loot then head up the makeshift stairs to face off against the foreman, Martinez. You’ll need to clear a few more of his subordinates before Martinez shows himself, but once he does head up the stairs on the far right side so you can get a better vantage point of the action. If Martinez sets up a turret on the lower level, don’t worry about it and focus your fire on Martinez until he goes down.

With Martinez down, head over to the gate in front of the crane controls and access the keypad. Follow the markers to the laptop that serves as the crane controls. This completes the mission.
