If you weren’t one of the select players who helped defend Washington DC during The Division 2 VIP beta, then you’re in luck because you’ll soon have another chance. Ubisoft announced that the it will host an open beta on all platforms from March 1-4. With it, all players will have a chance to check out the online cooperative gameplay it has to offer.
Ubisoft hasn’t offered many details about the event yet, but it will likely be an expansion of the closed beta experience that was recently offered to pre-order customers and select players. The closed beta also provided a brief look at The Division 2’s end game content, giving players a glimpse of what to expect once they’ve reached maximum level. For more information, keep an eye on the open beta page.
This time, the game takes place in Washington DC, several months after the events of the previous game. Players must survive in a post-apocalyptic world that has been ravaged by a plague, causing the government to collapse.
The Division 2 will release for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 15, 2019.
