Dead Space Remake Developer Livestream to Show an Early Look at Development

A little taste of what players can expect from the Dead Space remake.

On social media, the team at Motive Studios announced an upcoming developer livestream focused on the upcoming remake of Dead Space. The remake of Dead Space was first announced at EA Play back in July and while we aren’t sure when to expect the game’s release, we do know it’ll release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Dead Space Remake Developer Livestream to Show an Early Look at Development

If you’re itching to know more about the Dead Space remake that’s being developed by Motive Studios, an opportunity is fast approaching in the form of a developer livestream.

The livestream is set to air tomorrow, August 31, at 1:00 p.m. (EST) on the official Twitch channel for Motive Studios. The exact contents of the livestream have yet to be shared, all we know is that viewers will be treated to a “very early look” at the development of Dead Space.

What this means is we likely won’t see too much of the Dead Space remake in the way of gameplay. Of course, we’re sure to see more than we’ve seen thus far, which consists of a short teaser trailer and a view of Isaac’s back.

With that teaser trailer, a brief description was also provided and reads as follows:

“The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience.

Harnessing the power of the Frostbite game engine and next generation consoles, this remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and improvements to gameplay while staying true to the original. Dead Space will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.”

Overall, we’re looking forward to seeing everything Motive Studios has to show during their developer livestream for the Dead Space remake.

To catch the stream for yourself, be sure to follow Motive Studios on Twitch and tune in tomorrow, August 31, at 1:00 p.m. (EST) to catch a glimpse of the progress that the team is making on the Dead Space remake.
