During EA Play Live 2021 a lot of new announcements were made, but the show ended with a look at what’s coming next for the Dead Space Franchise.
Dead Space Remake Announced At EA Play Live, Coming to Next-Gen & PC
A full-on remake of the original Dead Space was revealed and you can watch the trailer for it below.
The trailer doesn’t show a ton, but we do get to see the back of Isaac and his health meter charge up. There’s no subtitle or release date for the game, but we do know it is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
We hope to learn more information about this title soon, but it will probably be quite some time before we hear more about it.
Here is the official description from the Youtube description of the trailer.
“The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. Harnessing the power of the Frostbite game engine and next generation consoles, this remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and improvements to gameplay while staying true to the original. Dead Space will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.”
