Dead Space 3 Offers Limited Edition With Exclusive Suits and Weapons

Like previous entries in the series before it, Dead Space 3 is ready to go with a Limited Edition.

Electronic Arts announced today that Visceral Games’ upcoming sequel will be upgraded to a limited edition for those who pre-order the game before its release.  And considering what all you get in the package for doing so, it’s not that bad a deal.

Those who pre-order the game from participating retailers will get access to a pair of costumes, including an insulated Witness suit that allows for more damage and a First Contact suit – ideal for zero G and space traveling parts of the game.  You’ll also be treated to a pair of killer weapons, including an assault rifle/shotgun toy known as the Evangelizer, and an electrically powered Tesla gun known as the Negotiator.  Obviously it’s good at, um, negotiating the flesh off of evil creatures.

Best of all, the Limited Edition upgrade will be free of charge.  No word yet if it’ll feature any physical goodies, but EA could very well announce a special edition down the road.

Look for Dead Space 3 next February on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
