The GODZILLA DLC includes the following new content:

  • Three new Godzilla DLC-exclusive missions that can be accessed after the end of Chapter 5
  • New dishes inspired by Godzilla and Ebirah
  • Collectible Godzilla figures are scattered throughout the ocean

Apart from the new content, there are multiple bug fixes, new control options, additional achievements, and minor improvements to the overall presentation. You can read the complete patch notes on their Steam news post.

Dave the Diver X Godzilla DLC Distribution Period

The Godzilla DLC will be available to download between May 23, 2024, and 23 November 2024. If you download the DLC even once during this period, you’ll have access to it forever, and you can download it at a later date too. However, if you don’t download it during this period, you won’t be able to access it again. This is likely due to a licensing deal for Godzilla.

At the time of writing, Dave the Diver is 25% off on Steam, and the discount will be available until June 3, 2024. This is the second free DLC that Dave the Diver has received which was in collaboration with another IP. Previously, DREDGE had a crossover DLC released for the game which also included extra content themed around the Lovecraftian horror fishing title.
