BioWare have fleshed out news on their forthcoming Dragon Age DLC, Darkspawn Chronicles.

The add-on will feature an “alternate history” for Dragon Age, an announcement from the EA-owned developer says. In this re-imagined universe, the game’s original protagonist pops his clogs in the joining ceremony and leaves the Grey Wardens following Alistair.
The DLC allows the player take control of a Darkspawn, a hurlock vanguard to be precise, as it accompanies and commands an army of Darkspawn into combat. Apparently, finishing the DLC will grant access to an epic Darkspawn item for your hero.
Darkspawn Chronicles will be coming out on 18th May and will set you back 400 Microsoft Points.
