Cyberpunk 2077 Gets the Comic Book Treatment With ‘Trauma Team’

Want more Cyberpunk 2077? How about a new Cyberpunk 2077 comic book?

CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Comics are teaming up once again, though this time it’s not Geralt front and center. A new Cyberpunk 2077 comic has been revealed called Trauma Team and it aims to take fans deeper into the underbelly of Night City than ever before.

The new Cyberpunk 2077 comic series will see Cullen Bunn as the writer with Miguel Valderrama as the artist. Jason Wordie is the colorist for Trauma Team with Frank Cvetkovic as the letterer. The new journey begins in September 2020 despite the game itself being delayed until November. 

Regarding the new comic series, Dark Horse tells us in a recent press statement “Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team welcomes you into a world a deceit, greed, and desolation. Nadia, a citizen of Night City and the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission for the Trauma Team International corporation. After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in an even more dangerous and life-threatening situation. Soon they’ll discover Trauma Team is not what it seems.”

There will be four issues total with the first set to arrive on September 9, 2020. While the new comic can be purchased at major retailers, comic lovers can also pre-order Trauma Team through their local comic shops. Support the local comic scene! It’s important!
