Cyberpunk 2077 Concept Art Reveals More About Night City’s Pacifica

Here is what we know so far about Cyberpunk 2077's vacation spot known as Pacifica.

Even though we are once again months away from the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, that hasn’t stopped the team over at CD Projekt RED from sharing with us that delicious goodness! While we’ve learned more about the Badlands, Heywood, and other locations, now the studio is sharing a sneak peek at Night City’s coulda-been vacation spot: Pacifica.

According to CD Projekt RED, “Pacifica could’ve been Night City’s money-making vacation resort, but once the investment dried up it became a husk left to rot. Now, instead of tourists, the district is overrun by gangs and violence, with The Voodoo Boys protecting the community forsaken by NCPD.”

What could have been but will never be, instead of a swanky vacay spot to draw in tourists, Pacifica instead evolved into a microcosm of death, violence, and an ever-present drive for control. This area is protected by the Voodoo Boys, so we wouldn’t recommend using up those vacation days for this location quite yet.

This is just one of many areas that the studio has shared and each area carries its own unique experience. We will be able to explore each location soon enough when Cyberpunk 2077 launches later this year.

It’s been an incredibly long road for this game and its launch and despite numerous setbacks and a global pandemic, the team has stayed dillegent when it comes to development and keeping fans in the loop in terms of progress and ongoing goal shifts.

The new release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is November 19th. You can learn more about the journey up until this point with our game hub here, as well as on Twitter @PrimaGames for more Cyberpunk 2077 goodness and gaming news.
