Call of Duty has shed some light on the brand-new Halloween modes fans can expect in both Warzone and multiplayer. The new trailer shows off what Infinity Ward is calling “The Haunting of Verdansk.”

The most notable addition in the trailer is both the Saw and Texas Chainsaw crossover skins for players to purchase in the store. It certainly helps add tension to matches, even if it seems a little jarring at first.
A brand-new game mode called “Zombie Royale” allows players to come back as zombies instead of having to fight for their lives in the Gulag. Zombies can’t shoot or use weapons, but they have powers all their own.
Throughout all of the Warzone modes, a new reward system Infinity Ward is calling “Trick-or-Treat” will be implemented. You can read the official description of this below.
“Day or night, you can find specially marked Trick or Treat Supply Boxes in specific areas of Verdansk. Open these boxes up for a chance to receive universal rewards including the Epic “Return to Dust” Assault Rifle blueprint, “The Cleaver” Legendary Melee blueprint, a holographic watch, charms, stickers, sprays, calling cards and emblems.”
Not all of these boxes will have a reward inside of them. Some may have a brief jump scare, so beware.
Multiplayer in Modern Warfare will also have some Halloween goodies. In every game mode, any player that gets three kills in a single life will be given a jack-o-lanterns head. This is a fun little edition to matches.
Also, Domination points will become scarecrows, dog tags in Kill Confirmed will become skulls, and plenty of other visual effects will invade specific maps.
The Halloween festivities begin November 20, so get ready!
