Call of Duty’s New Season Drags Spawn, Lilith, and Skeletor into The Haunting

Spawn in with iconic Operators

With just a couple of months left in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Diablo and Skeletor have been announced as some of the latest crossover cosmetics to enter the game. Season 6 promises tons of new bundles and a Battle Pass that is themed around an upcoming “The Haunting” Halloween event.

Spawn will be available in the Battle Pass for Season 6 of Modern Warfare 2. Both Al Simmons and his Spawn counterpart will be unlockable with progressing forms that you can choose to use on your Operator. The standard Battle Pass is always 1,000 COD Points, and the Black Cell, which will likely contain other versions of Spawn, is $30.

Skeletor and Ash Williams will also make appearances as Operators in store bundles. However, these are not confirmed for the Battle Pass. Bundles like these tend to cost around $25 and usually have weapons that accompany the Operator. Release dates also aren’t confirmed, but they are expected around early October.

Inarius and Lilith from Diablo 4 will also get a bundle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 6. Both Diablo and Doom will have some kind of weapon bundles, but they aren’t likely to have Operators. So players will have to settle for weapons like a chainsaw or rifles with demonic tracers. Unfortunately, the chances of Lilith executing you with a stomp are slim.

Crossover bundles aren’t the only cosmetics to expect in Season 6. As always, there are tons of new skins on the way, along with all the seasonal content we expect in COD. That means new weapons, fresh maps, and plenty of events to match The Haunting theme in the game as October rolls around. Season 6 begins on September 27, and preloads typically start a day before.
