Microsoft and Activision are hosting an event in Los Angeles this weekend that will see 32 of the best teams in the world coming together to challenge for a Call of Duty: Black Ops II championship.

The event, which will be available for streaming live across Xbox Live free of charge, will kick off at 5 PM Central tonight, where the teams will battle to compete for the $1 million prize to take it all.  Expect plenty of heated competition and, of course, some sweet kills in the process.

On top of that, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb is also promising a fun little bonus for those who tune in to the tournament – a first look at the new Mob of the Dead map that will be included in the upcoming DLC, one that features Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri and other actors battling against zombies in Alcatraz.  Don’t fuggedaboutit!

Check out this promo video for the tournament.  We wish all the teams the best of luck!
