Vault Hunter fans will remember Krieg from Borderlands 2 and his insane nature made him an instant fan favorite, but he’s not the only returning familiar face coming back into the wasteland. Maya will also be returning, though how exactly is still up in the air. It’s fair to assume this will be due to flashbacks and a deeper look into her death, especially when looking at how close Maya and Krieg were in the previous game.

Also included in the upcoming DLC is yet another level cap increase, bringing it up to 65. As this is the last major DLC, Gearbox has also confirmed that this will be the last level increase as well. At least that’s the plan right now.

Borderlands 3, despite the massive waves of controversy regarding Gearbox head Randy Pitchford, has seen an overwhelming amount of success. With the three previous expansions already available and numerous timed-events and special gear to unlock, Borderlands 3 has continued on the tradition of raunchy humor, epic fights, and random as hell loot.

Borderlands 3 Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck arrives on September 10th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
