Battlefield 1 developer, DICE, has announced today that Prise de Tahure—a tense, night-time based map included in the They Shall Not Pass expansion—will soon be free for everyone. The map was previously only available for owners of They Shall Not Pass, as well as owners of the Premium Pass. Now, though, the map will be free to each and every Battlefield 1 player starting on January 16.

That same day owners of the base Battlefield 1 game can look forward to being able to sample some of the content included in both the They Shall Not Pass and the In The Name of the Tsar expansion packs as part of the Turning Tides DLC’s Gallipoli Trial. This will grant them access to some of the new content in the Turning Tides expansion as well, which will launch it’s second part later this month. This special trial is only available until January 22, though, so fans should mark it on their calendars to make sure that they don’t miss their chance to try out the DLC.

The new content coming to Turning Tides this month include the Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bright maps, as well as the British Empire Royal Marines faction, and the C-Class Airship vehicle. There isn’t a solid release date for the update just yet, but it is scheduled to arrive sometime this month.

Turning Tides is Battlefield 1’s third major DLC pack since release, and the next DLC that fans have to look forward to is the Apocalypse DLC, which will include “the most infamous battles of WWI” according to EA and DICE. They also say that the Apocalypse DLC will introduce “brutal tools and unique weapons born out of desperation and deadlock.”
