To commemorate the anniversary all players will receive a cake on March 18 in their in-game mailbox.

Starting on March 26 players will be able to purchase the Sanrio Sweetness pack at participating Target retailers for $5.99 This pack will include six Amiibo cards which will allow you to bring Sanrio characters to Harv’s Island as well as net you some sweet new furniture items.

This update will also bring the ability to upgrade your Custom Design inventory by 50 slots. Allowing you to hold more custom designs for your clothing and furniture. You will also be able to add the custom Design portal (originally found in the Able Sister’s store) directly to your Nook phone for quick access.

Starting on April 1, players will have access to new seasonal items just in time for Prom season. You’ll be able to purchase in-game items with bells and even get a few different colored whoopie cushions.

The biggest announcement of the bunch though is the new Island Tour Creator. This web-based system will allow you to upload screenshots to create a postcard for your island and show off some of your favorite spots. This feature launches on March 23.
