For years, we’ve come to understand just what the Angry Birds can do for games, as you launch them into countless formations to bring down those pesky pigs. Today, Rovio Mobile has changed all that up with the release of Angry Birds Go, which brings kart racing to the franchise for the first time.

This free-to-play title brings players to Piggy Island, with various 3D races available to take on and over 50 different karts to unlock and use over the course of the event. Players can also choose from either birds or pigs as their drivers, and utilize power-ups to help them gain the lead.

In addition, Angry Birds Go utilizes the Telepods toys originally released with Angry Birds: Star Wars II, allowing them to be added into the game. Specific Angry Birds Go toys are also in the works and should release over the next few months through Hasbro.

Check out the game now on the App Store and Google Play.
