Among Us, initially developed in 2018, has been the breakout multiplayer game of the year. On both PC and mobile, Among Us has become one of Twitch’s most popular games and even had AOC playing it to help get out the vote before the US Election this year.
There’s no denying that this game of deception has become wildly popular this year, so it’s no surprise that it would be coming to consoles. Some questions still remain about how the Switch will handle in-game voice chat, which is a huge part of trying to figure out who the impostor is.
Text chat seems like it would be difficult for those playing in handheld mode, similar to the mobile version, but we will see how it goes.
Among Us recently took home The Game Award for the best multiplayer game of 2020. In a year where no one can get together to play games locally, Among Us has been a great way to gather your friends together and yell at each other over who is killing everyone.

It seems developer Innersloth has been quite busy because Among Us is also coming to Xbox Game Pass. This team of four developers has a huge success on their hands, and they seem to be keeping the momentum going.
