With Skylanders: Swap Force just days away from release, Activision has a number of promotions in the works for the sequel. Among them is a special event that will be taking place in New York on October 10th.
Titled the “SWAPtoberfest,” the event will take place at 44/45 Pedestrian Plaza in Times Square, right next to the Toys ‘R Us store, from 3-6 PM. It’ll be hosted by actor James Marsden (X2: X-Men United, Enchanted) and Zach Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Pete’s Christmas).
Players will be able to take part in a number of activities, as well as hang out with Skylanders characters and win exclusive prizes, including a Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack, three days before it releases. The game will also be available for play, for those who want to try it out.
Skylanders: Swap Force hits stores on October 13th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
