What were your thoughts on seeing the PS5 taken apart this week?
It’s amazing how much has changed since the dark days of unreasonable hardware warranties. That thing just pops right open and they just show all the guts like it’s a DIY repair video. That would have been unthinkable five years ago! Also that dust chamber, tho.
What did you think of Geralt’s new armor in teaser photos for Season 2 of The Witcher?
Who? Seriously though, I’m not really a dark fantasy person and The Witcher is that to the nth degree. Call me when Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness gets going.
Did any of the release date updates for games this week surprise you?
Not really. I’m just praying Atelier Ryza 2 still makes 2020 because my fantasy critic draft is teetering on the edge of disaster.
Favorite piece on the site this week and why?
The Final Fantasy breakdown is something I’ve been wanting to put together for a while, so that was just fun to make. Also, after reading Jesse’s Ikenfell review I’m mad my backlog is in the state it’s in ’cause I want to play that!!
What are you playing this weekend?
Look out for my Torchlight III review this coming Tuesday!
What are you watching this weekend?
I’ll have a good answer for this eventually. This is not one of those times.
Doing anything else interesting or exciting this weekend?
I’m pulling a work weekend, but it’s at least one with a couple games I’m actually enjoying~
Jesse
What were your thoughts on seeing the PS5 taken apart this week?
I always love seeing the electronic guts of a new piece of hardware. It seems like Sony is really focused on keeping this console quiet, which is all I really wanted from the thing. My current PS4 Pro sounds like a jet engine and I hate it.
What did you think of Geralt’s new armor in teaser photos for Season 2 of The Witcher?
I’m into it. I like both season’s designs but I’m always down for anything that shows more of Henry Cavil’s muscles.
Did any of the release date updates for games this week surprise you?
Honestly I’m surprised for games haven’t been delayed. I really figured this fall was going to end up being quiet with *gestures at everything* going on.
Favorite piece on the site this week and why?
This was a big review week for us so I have to shoutout both Morgan’s Star Wars review and Lucas’ Crash review. Both are excellent and thoughtful looks at the game
What are you playing this weekend?
I’m going to start another Baldur’s Gate 3 run for sure. That game is so densely packed with content that I’m going to roll an entirely new character.
What are you watching this weekend?
Welp, I couldn’t wait to finish The Boys season 2 so I watched it late last night. Now I don’t really have anything to watch this weekend.
Doing anything else interesting or exciting this weekend?
I’m going to go to the park near my apartment and just stare into the sun until I explode.

What were your thoughts on seeing the PS5 taken apart this week?
I thought it was fun. Seeing things disassembled has always fascinated me, and I find it really satisfying in an almost “ASMR” kind of way. It’s good that the console looks like it’d be easy to make small repairs to, and the side panels can be easily customized.
What did you think of Geralt’s new armor in teaser photos for Season 2 of The Witcher?
Ok, well, so… Henry Cavill is very attractive so this is a difficult question to answer. In context, it makes sense Geralt would upgrade his armor and I like seeing changes like that between show seasons. I wonder if we’ll get any more Geralt bathtub scenes. Ok, I’m done. I won’t go any further.
Did any of the release date updates for games this week surprise you?
The one for The Medium surprised me as my mind had blanked out that it was originally supposed to release November 10. I’m really looking forward to The Medium and I think releasing it in December is a good idea for a number of reasons. I feel like more people will have the time to play and enjoy it.
Favorite piece on the site this week and why?
The Best Ways to Play Every Final Fantasy Game in 2020 from Lucas was absolutely outstanding and I adored the Ikenfell and Baldur’s Gate 3 reviews from Jesse.
What are you playing this weekend?
Going to jump back into Ghost of Tsushima, do some Hades runs, and as always, Tetris 99.
What are you watching this weekend?
I have a hankering to rewatch some of my favorite old movies that I’ve seen 10,000 times like The Mummy. It always makes me feel happy and I’ve been feeling a little off this week so I think it’ll help.
Doing anything else interesting or exciting this weekend?
Going for a drive, walking around somewhere remote, and getting some sunlight. It’s going to be a nice mental health rest time weekend for me.
