Have you had the opportunity to check out Pokemon Unite yet? If so, what do you think of the game thus far?
I haven’t! Aside from being busy I’m just not a MOBA person. My brain can’t do that style of game.
Are you excited about the Dead Space remake?
I feel weird about it? It feels like Visceral was just shut down recently and here we are with a remake of the game they were known for. At the same time it sounds like Motive is doing a lot of work on it, so maybe it’ll be cool.
What do you think of Death’s Door, do you think it could be one of the indie GOTYs of 2021?
I still haven’t gotten around to playing it, but Death’s Door looks amazing!! For real, I’m stoked to have time for it.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
Morgan dropping that guitar feature was a big move; took me back to learning game tabs on my own.
Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
I’m getting back on the Final Fantasy XIV train big time gotta catch up for Endwalker baby let’s go!!
Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?
There’s a new Shonen Jump manga called The Hunters Guild: Red Hood that’s got the wildest interpretation of werewolves I’ve ever seen. Definitely keeping an eye on it.
Bonus question, what is your favorite song to listen to when you’re looking to cheer yourself up?
Probably some chiptunes like the ol’ reliable Moon theme from DuckTales.

Have you had the opportunity to check out Pokemon Unite yet? If so, what do you think of the game thus far?
I’ve played a ton of it and actually really like it. It’s streamlined in a way that makes it easier to get my friends into it.
Are you excited about the Dead Space remake?
Too spooky for me, but maybe y’all will make me play it on stream or something.
What do you think of Death’s Door, do you think it could be one of the indie GOTYs of 2021?
I really liked it. I have had my eye on it since its first announcement and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Glad others are enjoying it as well.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
As always a lot of good guides, also going to plug my Death’s Door review because why not.
Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
Honestly probably a bunch more Pokemon Unite and who knows what else I’ll get up to.
Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?
I finally burned out on MasterChef but I am here to spread the good word of Lego Masters. A great Lego competition show.
Bonus question, what is your favorite song to listen to when you’re looking to cheer yourself up?
This is a hard question because all of the music I listen to is super sad. So today I will bring you another sad jam.
Morgan
Have you had the opportunity to check out Pokemon Unite yet? If so, what do you think of the game thus far?
I haven’t had the opportunity to check it out yet, but I really want to. I’ve heard great things, and it looks like a lot of fun.
Are you excited about the Dead Space remake?
I am! I would love to see a new entry in the series obviously, but I think this remake is a really good idea and it could very well get that “new entry” ball rolling again.
What do you think of Death’s Door, do you think it could be one of the indie GOTYs of 2021?
I think it’s awesome, and I’m loving seeing all the positive reception to it. Absolutely indie GOTY material.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
Jesse’s review of Death’s Door is fantastic, definitely recommend people check it out.
Playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
I am playing two smaller games under embargo right now, both of them I’ve been loving to death. I’m so excited to be able to talk about them next week!
Do you have any TV, movie, anime, or music recommendations that you’d like to share?
Always and forever lol. I saw a teaser for a new Monsta X song and I can’t stop rewatching and listening to it, they’ll always be my favorite kpop group. Speaking of which, I was a little late in experiencing Sambakja from Monsta X’s rap line, but ohhhhhh mannnnn is it so good! My jaw was on the floor watching the full performance.
Bonus question, what is your favorite song to listen to when you’re looking to cheer yourself up?
I listen to kpop because it often cheers me up and makes me feel better, especially when I’m deeply depressed. It has so much vibrant, positive energy you can’t help but smile. Examples of this for me would be BBoom BBoom from Momoland, anything from Twice but especially Likey, the dance is so much fun, and my all-time favorite… Hero from Monsta X!
