Yesterday, Ubisoft shocked everyone with a surprise early morning livestream revealing the setting for the next Assassin’s Creed game. Following the confirmation that the long-rumored viking setting would be indeed what fans would take on next, the team also revealed the new experience’s official name: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The world premiere of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla goes live today, April 30, at 8 AM PT, 11 AM ET. You can watch the showcase in the video below to see what Ubisoft has to unveil for us before the show begins:
Now that we know the Vikings theme is legitimate after over a year of rumors and leaks, we’re interested to learn more about which other rumors could possibly be confirmed, specifically the one about whether or not Valhalla will allow players to choose between protagonists like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey allowed. Other rumors include even more RPG elements trickling into the AC experience, an experiment that was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback when it came to Valhalla’s predecessor: Odyssey.
