Sony and Microsoft both have created some incredible limited-edition consoles over time, though it seems like Team Green goes just a wee bit harder when it comes to sharing those “WOW” designs. That being said, Sony takes a more artful approach, and that can definitely be seen in their latest reveal. The reactions were pretty interesting, so instead of the usual news coverage, we’re hitting internet reactions to Sony’s limited-edition The Last of Us Part II PlayStation 4 Pro console reveal.
Sony took to Twitter to reveal the new console, a matching headset, and the controller. The design is much more subtle than one would expect from a zombie game, but it’s stunning nonetheless. Plus, doing the unexpected is not always a bad thing, it’s nice to see a more grown-up design for someone looking for a new special way to honor the games they are most excited for.

Who the hell is gonna buy a brand new PS4 when backwards compatible PS5 is about to release in a matter of months?

God of War and Spider-Man were the best looking ones.

I like how simple it looks. Not everything has to be extremely detailed or convoluted

There were quite a few other hilarious posts as well, but replies were quickly being hidden. That being said, the limited-edition The Last of Us Part II PS4 Pro will be launching alongside the game’s release on June 19th, just a few short months away from the anticipated PlayStation 5 launch.
