FFXIV has a lot of minions for players to collect. These little companions will follow you and make for extra company on long missions. While they don’t have any functional purpose while questing or in dungeons, it’s another way to show off to your friends. With patch 6.3, a few more minions have been added for players to collect. Here’s how to get the Mama Automaton minion in FFXIV patch 6.3.

FFXIV: How to Get the Mama Automaton Minion in 6.3

To obtain the Mama Automaton minion in FFXIV patch 6.3, all you need to do is head over to the Gold Saucer and head to the Prize Claim counter. Click on Prize Claim III. Here you will find the Mama Automaton minion for 30,000 MGP. If you have enough, purchase it, and it is all yours.

If you are strapped for MGP this week, head over to the Fashion Report once it’s available. If you successfully score 80 points, you’ll be rewarded with 60,000 MGP, which will be more than enough to pick up the Mama Automaton minion.

Fashion Reports can be tricky, so if you don’t want to be bothered, play the Mini Cactpot three times daily and check out the new Leap of Faith map to earn extra MGP every 20 minutes. In between waiting, start crossing off your weekly Gold Saucer challenges one by one; these can net you a few thousand MGP each week.
