How to Fix Twitch Drops Not Working in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Ironic for the drops to not drop.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide kicked off its Twitch promotion early in the pre-order beta with its Twitch drops, letting players score skins for various weapons in the game. These include the Lasgun, Ripper Gun, Autogun, and Devil’s Claw Sword, with each getting a similar “Camo” skin after watching streams for a short time. The rewards have yet to appear in-game for some though, which has caused some frustration among the community. Here’s how to fix Twitch drops not working in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

Why Are Darktide Twitch Drops Bugged?

While you may be frantically trying to re-link your accounts (which you should do if you haven’t already), you’re likely to be wasting your time. According to an official post on the Fatshark forums by FatsharkJulia, a Community Support team member, progress towards Twitch drops is bugged and is being worked on. If you’re having this issue, rest assured the team is working on it and hopefully should have it fixed by the next round of Twitch drops from December 2-3. Since these are re-runs of the previous cosmetics, you hopefully won’t have lost out on much.

If your issue isn’t in Twitch drop progress but rather the rewards not appearing in-game, that’s possibly another issue entirely If you’re reading this before the full release, Twitch drops alongside other rewards for pre-ordering, the Imperial Edition, etc. are all going to appear when the game fully launches and not immediately. If you’re reading afterward though, you may need to double-check how both your Darktide and Twitch accounts are linked to make sure it’s correct. Beyond that, contacting the Fatshark support team should yield results as well.

As of writing, the December 2-3 Twitch drops are the last currently planned. There’s a high chance more will come in the future, but until Fatshark says something on the matter, we don’t know for certain.
