If you’ve caught a Ralts in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and evolved it, you’ll have Kirlia. Now, how does Kirlia evolve? Well, luckily, it’s a level requirement and nothing specific you need to do if you want Gardevoir. However, there is a second form that Kirlia can evolve into instead.

Kirlia will evolve in Gardevoir at level 30. No items are needed, and no weird requirements; if you’re looking for your Kirlia to evolve into Gardevoir, that’s all you will need to do. You can level it up quickly by using it in trainer battles and gym battles and giving it EXP candies and rare candies.

If you want Kirlia to evolve into Gallade, however, there are a few more requirements and hoops to jump through.

First off, your Kirlia needs to be male. If you have a female Kirlia, it will not be able to evolve into Gallade.

Once you have a male Kirlia, you’ll need to give it a Dawn Stone, evolving it into Gallade.

Those are the two forms Kirlia can evolve into, so pick your favorite.
