How to Evolve Skiploom in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Hoppip is easily obtainable on the very first route in the game. It’s a safe bet that it’s been your grass Pokemon in the game’s early hours. If you’re reading this, you’ve already evolved it into a Skiploom, an even weirder green thing.

To evolve Skiploom, you need to have it reach level 27. It will then evolve into Jumpluff, which is a grass/flying Pokemon. This is the final evolution of the Hoppip line.

It’s a solid Pokemon and a great addition to any team. You can have it reach level 27 by battling trainers, using EXP candies and rare candies, or simply taking advantage of the “Let’s Go” auto-battling feature.

There are plenty of grass and flying Pokemon in Paldea, so you may eventually switch out Jumpluff for something newer and more exciting. However, if you’ve grown attached to this blue ball of fun, it’s more than viable to take all the way to the Elite Four.
