It might be a surprise to see a marksman rifle become the breakout favorite of COD communities everywhere. But the SP-R 208 has a low-skill floor and is accessible to low-level players who haven’t unlocked the other guns. That doesn’t mean the gun isn’t good, though. It’s powerful, even without attachments. But with them, and in the right hands, the SP-R 208 can become an absolute lobby slayer.

The SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle offers extremely high damage, great recoil control, and, most importantly, fantastic ADS for a rifle. What it doesn’t have is a huge magazine. These builds double down on where the SP-R 208 succeeds while mitigating some of its worse aspects.

Never Miss

This build focuses on keeping accuracy high and recoil low.

  • Barrel – SP-R 26″
  • Optic – Solozero SP-R 28 mm
  • Stock ZLR SP-R Overseer
  • Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
  • Bolt Assembly – Sloan KR-800

This build is great if you want to play it slow and further in the back, as it impacts mobility. But because the SP-R already has pretty fantastic mobility, this cut isn’t that detrimental. Keep in mind, though, the SP-R functions best at mid-range.
