How to Unlock the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2

To unlock the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2, you’ll have to head down into the Laboratory and access the Fabricator. To do this, go toward the Plort Market in the Conservatory and turn left towards the staircase. Head down the stairs and follow the tunnel to find the Fabricator and Refinery. While you’ll need the Refinery later, our focus is on the Fabricator for now.

From here, you’ll find the Jetpack upgrade under “Upgrades”. However, you can’t unlock it for free. In fact, not only must you pay Newbucks for the Jetpack, but you’ll also need plorts and a third resource. Below is the full list of materials necessary to get the Jetpack:

  • Newbucks x450
  • Phosphor Plort x10
  • Radiant Ore x10

Once you have each resource, toss the plorts and ore into the Refinery and get the Jetpack through the Fabricator! Better yet, you can also upgrade your energy from here, so you can travel greater distances with the pack.
