Remember the Game Boy Advance days? There were so many great titles that were exclusive to the system, but unfortunately, they also remained trapped on it. One such game is the complete Mega Man Battle Network series, which has six sequels with a couple of variations. But trapped no more – all these will soon be available in the all-new Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. Here’s what you need to know, including platforms and release date.
Games Included in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection
The new Mega Man Collection will contain all of the titles from the tactical role-playing series. Here’s the complete game list:
- Mega Man Battle Network
- Mega Man Battle Network 2
- Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue
- Mega Man Battle Network 3 White
- Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon
- Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun
- Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team ProtoMan
- Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel
- Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
- Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar
Other than Mega Man Battle Network titles, the Legacy Collection will contain a gallery with over 1,000 artworks and a music compilation with over 150 tracks from the OST of each game. Check out the trailer for the Collection below to see all of the games in action.
It seems that all of the titles in the Legacy Collection will be presented as they were on GBA without remastering, possibly only with a few additional graphical filters (we’ll see), but their style and gameplay still hold up well.
Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Platforms
Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC. The physical version (consoles only) will have all games in one big bundle, while the digital will be split into two volumes that will be sold separately.
Does Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Have a Release Date?
For now, we don’t have an exact release date for the collection, but at the end of the announcement trailer, it was confirmed that Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be released in 2023. We’ll update this once we know more.
