Mounts are in abundance in Final Fantasy 14. They come in all shapes and sizes ranging from Chocobos to crossover mounts like Rathalos from Monster Hunter. New mounts are being added to the game constantly and such is the case with the Papa Paissa mount which is new with Patch 6.1.
How to Get the Papa Paissa Mount in FFXIV
To get the Papa Paissa mount, which you may have seen flying around Eorzea, all you have to do is fork over your hard-earned cash. It’s available in the FFXIV Online Store for $24.00. The mount is account-wide so you’ll only need to purchase it once and you’ll have it throughout your entire account.
You won’t be able to use the mount until you’ve received your Chocobo in the main story, which happens around level 25. If you’re passed this point then no need to worry, the mount will be available for pickup from the Delivery Moogle located in each major city.
While mounted on the Papa Paissa you can use the “Family Outing” action to see its parenting side to a bunch of baby Paissa, it’s very cute.
This isn’t the only mount available for direct purchase, the Online Store is filled with mounts like SDS Fenrir, Fatter Cat, and even the Kingly Peacock. If you don’t want to spend the cash you can earn easy mounts by just playing through the main scenario quest or running old content unsynched for some easy Extreme mounts.
