Next year is already looking stacked when it comes to game releases. Most notably, the month of February alone has games like Dying Light 2, Elden Ring, Sifu, and more just in one month! Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong was amongst those games, but it has now been delayed.

This information comes from the Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong Twitter account. You can read the full statement below.
“Our focus is on crafting a world that draws you in, that requires you to make difficult decisions and live with the consequences. Swansong features lots of characters, choices, dialogue, and opportunities to decide how the story plays and our ultimate focus is on quality. With this in mind, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the launch of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong from February 2022 to May 2022.”
The game now officially launches on May 19, 2022, barring another potential delay if need be.
The post also cites “This wasn’t a decision we took lightly, but one necessary to ensure the highest possible quality while retaining a healthy work-life balance for our team.”
Delays happen, heck, we’ve seen a ton of them this year alone, and it’s always nice to hear that a developer is looking out for the health of its team.
Vampire: The Masquerade will launch on May 19, 2022, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
