Whether you’re into football, basketball, or hockey, there’s a little something for everyone on Xbox Game Pass in March.

Xbox Game Pass is Adding a Ton of Sports Games This Month

Xbox Game Pass subscribers wondering what they can look forward to throughout the month of March have now been given an answer via an update on the Xbox blog. From the beginning of March onward, a wealth of sports games are being added to Xbox Game Pass.

It’s not all balls and pucks, though. Aspiring Star Wars pilots will be able to seat themselves in the virtual cockpit of a Tie Fighter in Star Wars: Squadrons which is coming to Xbox Game Pass in March through EA Play.

To help you save time, we’ve listed all of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March below.

  • Madden NFL 21 (Console) – Available Now
  • Football Manager 2021 (PC) – March 4
  • Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition (Console, PC) – March 4
  • NBA 2K21 (Console, Cloud) – March 4
  • Star Wars: Squadrons (Console) – Coming in March via EA Play
  • NHL 21 (Console) – Coming in April via EA Play

Other offerings that are available right now include Cricket 19 for PC and Elite Dangerous for Cloud. If you want more content than this, the Xbox blog notes there will be a Control DLC sale available until March 8.

As part of this sale, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to save 50% off The Foundation and AWE expansions, and 35% off the Season Pass for Control. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can save 10% on the Gears 5: Operations 6 DLC Bundle.

Not looking to spend money? Minecraft’s new adventure map The Mountain is available for free in the Minecraft Marketplace right now! With new additions to Xbox Game Pass comes the inevitable departures of games from the service.

Unfortunately, the games that will no longer be available include some phenomenal titles like Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

If you’ve yet to check these games out, you have until March 15 to do so. It may not be enough time for The Witcher 3, but should be enough time to get a feel for games like Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and Kona.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 15

  • Alvastia Chronicles (Console, PC)
  • Astrologaster (PC)
  • Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (Console, PC)
  • Kona (Console)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Console)

And that’s everything shared per the update on the Xbox blog. Stay tuned as we’ll be sure to update you on other games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future.
