With all the latest buzz going on in the gaming community about the release of Ghost of Tsushima, there are a lot of players getting ready to hop into the samurai themed open-world game on the PlayStation 4. However, as you might expect, a lot of players are wondering if Ghost of Tsushima will be available on Xbox One or PC? Let’s take a look.
Will Ghost of Tsushima Get an Xbox One and PC Release?
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to release Ghost of Tsushima on Xbox One or PC. The game was announced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive and will remain that way for a foreseeable future. However, while it likely won’t ever come to Xbox, it’s not unheard of for a PS4 exclusive to come to PC a year or so after launch. Two good examples of this would be the recent release of Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn on PC.
However, due to the rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation, it seems highly unlikely that Sony would ever allow the game to be released on an Xbox console. I suppose anything is possible, but I certainly wouldn’t hold your breath or count on it. While this can be frustrating at times, at the end of the day, Sony and Microsoft are running a business and have to make wise business decisions.
However, if you have a PlayStation 4, then you can hop into the world of Ghost of Tsushima right now, as the game has finally been released. For those who don’t know, the game is set in the year 1274 on the real-life island of Tsushima, which sits close to Japan. In the game, players will take the role of Jin Sakai, the last remaining samurai on the island which also happens to be the last territory standing in the way of the Mongol Empire’s invasion of Japan. In order to save his people and land, Jin will have to do something he never thought he would do, adopt the way of the Ghost, but will it be enough?
Ghost of Tsushima will take place in three acts, with each act allowing players to explore a new region of the island. It is an open-world game, and there are plenty of main quests, side quests, collectibles, and trophies that will keep players busy during their playthrough. Further, for those that are interested, the game does feature an option for a Japanese dub with English subtitles, if you’re interested.
