How to Catch Sweetfish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

One of the most exciting aspects of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is when a different month arrives. The reasoning for why it is an exciting time when a different month comes is the addition of fish that were not available for players to encounter and catch in the previous month. This will be the case for July, as players will have a group of fish that they now have the opportunity to catch. One of these fish is the Sweetfish, and we have everything you need to know to catch a Sweetfish covered for you. 

Sweetfish Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Players will find that the Sweetfish will spawn at the location of a river. This particular fish has a small to medium shadow size, which means that those who are wanting to catch this aquatic creature will need to cast their lines out towards small and medium-sized shadows they see to obtain the Sweetfish. You will be able to find this creature at a river all day, which means that players do not have to dedicate a portion of time during a specific period of time to have a chance of getting this fish for their collection.

This fish will spawn in the world of the latest entry in the fan-favorite Nintendo franchise between July and September in the Northern Hemisphere. Individuals in the Southern Hemisphere will see the Sweetfish spawn in Animal Crossing: New Horizons between January and March.

This particular fish will net players a total of 900 Bells when they sell it, meaning that those who can get their hands on one of these aquatic creatures will be rewarded handsomely if they can acquire plenty of them before selling.
