Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is the last game in the Nathan Drake Collection, which has gotten a lot of new fans in the last few weeks, since Sony gave it away for free as part of the “Play at Home” initiative. For all the brand-new treasure hunters making their first trip through the trilogy, as well as anyone taking this opportunity for a replay, we’ve put together a full two-part guide to finding all the collectible treasures in Uncharted 3.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception – Find All the Treasures (Part One)
As in all Uncharted games, treasures often appear in-game in Uncharted 3 as glowing points of light. They’re easy to spot from a distance if you have a clear line of sight on them, but many of them are also concealed by camera tricks or found in isolated corners of the map. A couple of the treasures, such as the first two in the game, are much easier to spot by virtue of the giant context command that appears on the bottom of your screen whenever you’re close enough to grab them. As a general rule for Uncharted 3 in particular, if it looks like there’s a branching path, one route takes you further into the level and the other probably has a treasure at its end.
You’ll receive a bronze Trophy, First Treasure, for the, um, first treasure you collect, and another one for finding 20, 40, 60, and 80 treasures in total. When you get the 100th and last treasure in the game, you unlock the silver Trophy Master Fortune Hunter.
You also gradually unlock various bonus rewards as you find treasures. In particular, the Remastered edition of Uncharted 3 that’s included in the Nathan Drake Collection has dozens of characters models from the PS3 game’s now-defunct multiplayer mode that are all now single-player rewards, and many of them are specifically tied to your treasure total. They’ll unlock in your Bonuses menu as you find 1, 20, 40, 60, 80, or all 100 treasures.
Like the previous two Uncharted games, there’s a 101st treasure, the Strange Relic (a.k.a. a Precursor Orb), which doesn’t count towards your overall total for the sake of the Fortune Hunter Trophies. Finding it instead grants you the bronze Trophy Relic Hunter.
If you can find all 100 treasures and the Strange Relic in the Remastered version of Uncharted 3, you unlock the gold Trophy Master Thief Collection, which is unique to this game despite having the same name, unlock conditions, and rarity as the identical Trophies in the previous two Remasters.
In general, Uncharted 3 is a little kinder on treasure hunters than Uncharted 2 was, but it also spreads its treasures out more. Only Chapter 17 is totally without collectibles this time around. There are even a couple of the treasures that are hidden during what are effectively dream sequences, which is a little rude.
Check the following table for the names and locations of every treasure in the first ten chapters of Uncharted 3.

| Diamond and Pearl Bracelet | When you’re climbing the turret to find a way inside the chateau, don’t take the first entrance you find. Keep climbing to the top of the turret to find this treasure in a hidden room. | |
| Louis XVI Louis D’or Coin | After the cutscene where you spot the tower, don’t leave right away. Check the hallway behind the stairs on the second floor. | |
| Emerald Cameo Brooch | In the chateau library, there’s a set of red curtains next to a broken round window. This treasure is on the end of the curtain rod, and must be shot down. | |
| Art Nouveau Belt Buckle | After you fall into the cave, go down the slope and look behind the small cluster of stalagmites. | |
| Ruby and Diamond Ring | After the grenade tutorial fight, check the corner of the courtyard near the closed wooden gate. | |
| Silver Rococo Teapot | You’ll subsequently get into a big fight and push through a heavy door with Sully. There’s a sneaky treasure hidden above you in this room; look for some well-concealed handholds behind the wall to your right. Use them to scale the wall, then cross the beam. | |

| Chapter 7: Stay in the Light | Gold and Pearl Stickpin | After your encounter with the spiders, knock down the wreckage to create the makeshift ramp. Use it to get some height and jump to the floor above where you just were, then follow the hall around. |
| Chapter 8: The Citadel | Silver Sassinid Coin | There’s a big piece missing out of the bridge you cross early in the level. Use it to drop down and collect this treasure from the bridge’s support columns. |
| Ancient Metal Elephant | After you lower the drawbridge, look up and to the left of the locked gate. There’s a hard-to-spot glowing treasure on the wall that you must shoot down to collect. | |
| Crusader Coin | After you shoot open the gate, walk through it, turn right, and check the statue. | |
| Enamel Copper Vessel | Take out the enemies in the waterway, then climb up a level and turn left. The treasure is in this general area, in a bricked-up doorway. | |

| Chapter 10: Historical Research | Antique Cloak Clasp | At the start of the stage, take a left at the base of the stairs. |
| Silver Jambiya Dagger | Right when you reach the marketplace, look for a wall-mounted fountain. The treasure is next to it. | |
| Golden Yemeni Bracelet | After Elena has the shopkeeper open the gate, go through it, go up the stairs, and check the cactus. | |
| Traditional Silver Bead | At the top of the stairs in the building with the red carpeting, on the table by the couch under the windows. | |
| Amber and Silver Necklace | After your fight scene in the market, leave via the gate and watch the right-hand wall for a small alcove. | |
| Kahraman Amber Necklace | From where you found the last treasure, go down the stairs and turn right at their bottom. | |

At this point, your in-game treasure collection should have 51 items in it, counting the Strange Relic, and you should have the Skilled Fortune Hunter bronze Trophy.

One of the things about Uncharted 3‘s treasure hunting that I particularly like is that in Uncharted 4, Nate tells Sam that all these random artifacts you found are what paid for his house and car (and probably Elena’s copy of Crash Bandicoot).
