How to Equip Weapon Skins in Borderlands 3

So, we’ve said this many times before but we’re going to have to reiterate it again: we reckon that the true end-game of Borderlands 3 and basically every shooting game is fashion. There’s no way around this. Fashion is the most important thing to players of max level, and we’re going to pick that hill to die on. So, that means that we’re all about making sure that your weapons look glam as they possibly can. Enter weapon skins. If you were one of the people who pre-ordered the game or if you purchased the Deluxe edition, then you’re going to already be able to access some. Now, it’s all about equipping them.

To equip your weapon skins, you’re going to have to make sure that you’re going to be in your Inventory and that you have selected the weapon that you want to modify the appearance of. You should also be in the Inspect screen which opens up a whole bunch of details about your weapon. Once you’ve done that, you’re going to be able to pick the option to change your weapon skin with the necessary button (whether it’s square or X depending on your console) and then it’s just a matter of tabbing down to the option that you want to dock your gun in. Simple! Weapon skins are just for looks, but like we said, coordination is definitely very important to us on Team Prima.

Now that you’ve got our guide on how to equip weapon skins in Borderlands 3, it should be a little bit easier for you to make sure that every inch of your killing ensemble looks good.
