One of the most alluring aspects of Borderlands 3 is creating as strong of a character as you can and facing off against the hardest enemies the looter-shooter has to offer. Vault Hunters will soon be able to experience one of the hardest difficulty levels that the title has to offer when the True Takedown Mode launches in an upcoming update for February. How to Access True Takedown Mode in Borderlands 3

The process to access True Takedown Mode is not a difficult one. Vault Hunters will need to activate a lever that is located on the right side of the door, which leads out of the airlock at the beginning of the map. This map is the one used for the Maliwan Blacksite activity. 

Borderlands 3 True Takedown Mode

The True Takedown Mode is intended to deliver the extremely hard difficulty level that was initially designed for the Maliwan Blacksite activity when it launched. This tough difficulty level is scaled for four Vault Hunters who are geared to a very high degree. The new difficulty level is being introduced following the scaling of the Maliwan Blacksite event for smaller groups of Vault Hunters.
