If you’re still trying to scoop up all that Iron Banner armor from Destiny 2‘s Season of Opulence, your time to do so is rapidly running out. We’ve already got some tips up on how to complete Armed and Dangerous if you’re stuck fairly early on in the process, but for those who have already put in the hard yards, we’ve got a Headstrong quest Destiny 2 guide to help you finally put the bow on this whole experience.
Headstrong Quest Destiny 2 Guide: Iron Banner Quest Walkthrough
So, to have worked your way up to the Headstrong quest as part of the whole Iron Banner tasklist, you’re going to have to have completed the following sub-quests:
- Armed and Dangerous
- Light It Up
- Non-Stop
What you want to do for the Headstrong quest is pretty simple conceptually, but it can be a real pain in the butt to actually grind out. What you have to do here is to just play your fair share of Iron Banner matches. And by fair share, we mean a whole lot of Iron Banner. From what we can tell, winning a match gives you percentage points towards the progress bar of the quest, and unsurprisingly, losing matches will mean that your completion takes a step backwards as well. In the interests of efficiency, you’re going to want to win as many matches back to back as possible, because doing so exponentially increases the progress that you get for said wins. If you can keep on a winning streak, then great. If not, then you’re definitely going to be in this for a long slog.
Once you’ve maxed out that progress bar with Iron Banner wins, though, you can enjoy feeling utterly triumphant because guess what? You’ll have completed every single step of the Iron Banner questline, which means that the full armor set will be yours for the taking once you’ve dragged your bloodied and battered body back to The Tower. If you need a hand with the tricky bits of other gear-related quest chains, like how to complete The Damnation subquest to get The Last Word, then we can definitely help you out with that too.
