Both Microsoft and Sony have been toe-to-toe when it comes to their special edition controllers for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and while many are still drooling over the previously released Phantom White controller for the Xbox camp, Sony just revealed four stunning new designs for the PlayStation 4. Even better? One of them is purple (drool).

The four colour options includes a really beautiful rose gold option, a titanium blue, the electric purple, and a red camouflage. The red camo is a very specific sort of design, so it won’t be for everyone, but this particular take for the DualShock has been highly requested over the years.

I’m clearly obsessed with purple, so I can already say right now I’m biased there but it looks phenomenal. That, and you really can’t go wrong with a rose gold option either. It’s classy, looks high quality, and it’s particularly trending in pretty much ever facet – including hair colour!

This new line of DualShock controllers for the PlayStation 4 will be debuting this fall, though a specific date hasn’t been given yet at this time. With Xbox planning something big for GamesCom, who knows – maybe we’ll see a new line from them as well and then we can all be broke and stylish together.
