Free Devil May Cry 5 Update Gives Nero Banana Hands, Because Why Not?

Given that Nero has a noodle hand option, bananas shouldn't be that surprising.

Nero’s Devil Breakers in Devil May Cry 5 can go from epic to silly really quickly. From an eating utinsel, to Mega Man’s blaster, Capcom didn’t shy away from giving a variety of options to players. It’s because of that variety that we shouldn’t be too surprised that the latest update gives Nero banana hands.

Yup.

Bananas.

The latest addition to Nero’s Devil Breakers arsenal is called the Monkey Business Devil Breaker, one that PlayStation describes as “A Devil Breaker that looks like a bunch of bananas. Created by Nico on a whim from leftover Helter Skelter parts. The big, bendy, revolving bananas are amusing, but not particularly useful in battle. It can’t be found inside the motorhome, but will appear occasionally on stages.”

Though the team promised no story DLC on the way earlier this month, it looks like we can still expect a few additions here and there. Which, to be fair – we’re more than OK with.

For those looking for even more Devil May Cry 5 goodness, we broke the news earlier this year that a tabletop adaptation is on the way! You can learn more about that right here, giving it just one more way to experience this incredible franchise.

As for the game itself, Devil May Cry 5 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

“The threat of demonic power has returned to menace the world once again in Devil May Cry 5. The invasion begins when the seeds of a “demon tree” take root in Red Grave City. As this hellish incursion starts to take over the city, a young demon hunter Nero, arrives with his partner Nico in their “Devil May Cry” motorhome. Finding himself without the use of his right arm, Nero enlists Nico, a self-professed weapons artist, to design a variety of unique mechanical Devil Breaker arms to give him extra powers to take on evil demons such as the blood sucking flying Empusa and giant colossus enemy Goliath.”
