All you’ll need to do to dive into the game is head over to the game’s official Steam page, download the game, and then dive right in. On top of being free to play this weekend, players looking to pick it up for good can enjoy it at a hefty discount of 50% off. The free weekend will run until September 3, which gives you almost five days to enjoy the action as you strive to get all the loot that you can.

In other news, Fatshark has also sanctioned fourteen new mods that players can download to enhance their overall Vermintide 2 experience. You can learn more about those mods in the Steam announcement. There’s some really cool stuff to check out, though, like the mod Mission Timer, Parry Indicator, and even the mod Chat Block. You can learn more about these mods in the announcement we linked above, but each one will provide a nice buff to your Vermintide gameplay, giving you even more ways to enjoy the beautiful world that Fatshark has created.

You can also check out our various Vermintide 2 guides if you’re looking for more help on the game, and make sure you dive in and give the game a chance this weekend if you don’t have anything else going on. No sense in wasting a free weekend.
