Tencent’s popular free-to-play mobile MOBA Arena of Valor is headed to the Nintendo Switch, but not before hosting a two-week long closed beta test. The Arena of Valor closed beta on the Switch will begin next week on Thursday, June 28.
How to Sign Up for the Arena of Valor Switch Beta
Switch owners who want to participate in the Arena of Valor closed beta can apply to receive a closed beta key code by taking a short survey on the Arena of Valor website. It’s important to note that the closed beta will only be available for players in North America and Europe.
Keep in mind that signing up for a closed beta key does not guarantee access to the Arena of Valor Switch beta. Once you’ve completed the survey, you simply have to wait to hear back from Tencent. The developers will distribute closed beta keys to select applicants prior to the test period, and the keys will allow for unlimited play for the duration of the beta test on Nintendo Switch.
After making waves amongst the MOBA gaming scene in China, Arena of Valor eventually arrived for Western mobile devices late last year. With over 200 million registered players, it is certainly one of the most ubiquitous games around. The game’s debut on Nintendo Switch will surely make it even more popular, especially since it will be one of the first real MOBAs available on Switch.
