If you’ve been playing through South Park: The Fractured But Whole, you’ve probably come to a point where ninja attack and you have the option to pay $5,000 for the City Ninja assassination contract. Buying the contract before the first ninja fight is one option, but you can also buy the contract at any point after that from the City Wok vendor menu. This article covers how to earn enough money to buy the City Ninja assassination contract in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
Why Buy the Ninja Contract
Paying the $5,000 for the Ninja contract stops the random ninja attacks around town and also allows you to take a picture with Mr. Kim, the owner of City Wok. If you don’t mind the annoyance of fighting or running from the ninja, this probably isn’t a big deal for you. Unless you are trying to take every selfie in town, you can save your $5,000.
How to Earn $5,000
The fastest and easiest way to earn $5,000 is to use the infinite money glitch. Simply go to any vendor and sell all of your junk components. These include Food, Scrap, Tech, Biohazard and Meds. To make this process a little easier, it’s best to focus on Scrap, Tech and Biohazard because they sell for $0.10 instead of some other junk components that only sell for $0.05.
You want to sell them in the highest quantity possible (999 if you have more than that in your inventory). Once you’ve sold all of your junk components, select the Buyback option (Square on PS4, X on Xbox). Now buy all of those same items back in the highest quantity possible (again, 999 if you had more than that).
How the glitch works is that while you’ll make money selling these components, you won’t be charged anything when you buy them back in high quantities. If you only buy back one at a time, you’ll be charged, but buying back several hundred at once glitches the purchase and you aren’t charged at all. You make the money from selling the items, then essentially buy them back for free. It takes some time to get up to $5,000, but if you have a lot of components you can do this in about 20 minutes or so.
An alternate method that doesn’t use the glitch is to simply make items that cost less to craft than the price they can be sold at. For example, a Quesadilla Especial sells for $0.55. However, you can buy the components for $0.50. Things like a Maximum Antidote work even better due to the higher selling price. This method takes longer than using the glitch, but if the glitch is eventually patched out of the game, there’s still a way to grind for money.
