Credits can be used for a lot of things in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and we’ve got some of the best ways to help you earn money. Some of the most obvious things include resupplying ammunition, equipment purchases, buying upgrades, and purchasing new improvements. This currency isn’t particularly useful when you’re away from the city in missions, so make sure you locate a vendor and buy up the things you need while visiting Prague. Of course, in order to spend money, you first have to make it. This guide will walk you through several ways you can make money easily and effectively in Adam Jensen’s latest adventure.
Sell Junk
As you make your way through the various vents, hallways, and secure chambers of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you’re sure to find your pockets weighed down by a lot of junk. Don’t hold on to this useless junk, instead, head back to the city and locate the nearest vendor (you can find one named Tars in Jensen’s apartment building. Two floors down from Jensen’s apartment).
Sell the junk, and then purchase anything else you might need like ammo, crafting parts, and additional weapons. You can also sell unneeded weapons at any vendor location, so don’t be afraid to drop off your pistol or other easy to acquire weapons for a few extra thousand credits.
Search and Loot Enemy Everything
Enemies you come across while out on missions will often be found carrying various objects like weapons, software, money, and other assorted items. Each person carries different things, and some might not even carry anything at all. This makes it imperative to find and search every single body and container that you come across in Mankind Divided. Otherwise you might find yourself struggling to keep up with your ammo requirements, which isn’t something you really want to struggle with.
Hack All the Nodes
Many of us focus in on the main nodes we need to hack if we want to unlock things like safes, computers, and terminals. Don’t get too much tunnel vision, though. Doing so might cause you to miss out on some easy to acquire information and credits. As you hack devices, be sure to grab all the additional nodes in the area along the way. Obviously you shouldn’t go too far out of your way to do this, as that might end with you getting caught. But, taking the time to hack a few extra nodes while you unlock new terminals can lead to some additional credits in your pocket. It won’t net you very much up front, but doing this overtime can pay off in the long run.
These are just three of the best ways to make some extra cash in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Due to the fact that weapons you already have are automatically converted to ammunition, we’d suggest selling off any common weapons during missions, as you’ll be able to easily pick them up again on your next top-secret jaunt through the criminal world.
