This article covers how to craft Biocells, Stimpacks and ammunition. As you make your way through the various levels and areas of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you’re going to find yourself running low on at least three items, Biocells, Stimpacks, and ammunition. The good news is all three of these items can be crafted using the games simple crafting system. This guide will help tech you all the information you need to keep your inventory chock full of the most important items you’re going to need to survive.
Crafting Materials
The first thing you need to learn about the crafting system, is how you use it. In order to teach you that we’re going to have to go to the very beginning. Before you can craft anything you’re going to have to find and obtain some Crafting Components. These junk items can be found throughout various levels, purchased from vendors in the Prague social center, or even found on bodies of enemies you take down. Make sure you’re looting enemies after you take them out, as you never know exactly what you might find in their pockets.
Once you have the crafting materials you need, it’s time to learn how to use them to your advantage. Open up your inventory, and then navigate to the Crafting tab, and locate the item that you want to craft. If you want to craft the Biocell, which you’ll need to refill your Augmentation energy gauge, you’re going to need to locate and obtain 120 Crafting Components. Once you have the components, select the Biocell, and then press the selection button to craft it.
Crafting on the Go
Crafting plays an important part in your journey through the various levels of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. If you want to make sure you have plenty of ammunition and Biocells you’re going to have to make sure you keep plenty of crafting components on your person. This special item doesn’t take up any inventory slots, though, so you shouldn’t have any problems holding on to a lot of it. We’d suggest checking every vendor and body that you come across during your play time, as you never know where you might some of these valuable components.
While in missions you can easily craft items by opening up the inventory and navigating to the crafting tab, as we showed above in our example. The game will pause whenever you’re in the crafting tab, so don’t hesitate to jump right in and make some additional ammo or Biocells whenever you need them. You’ll also need Crafting Components to make refills for items like your Nanoblade, which is one of the many experimental augmentations you can acquire from the upgrade tab.
Once you’ve gotten the hang of keeping your Biocell and ammunition stocks filled, crafting new items becomes second nature and you won’t have to worry about forgetting to check up on things before missions. That being said, we would highly suggest making sure you have plenty of ammo, Biocells, Stimpacks, and Crafting Components before you head off on any additional missions, as you don’t want to end up stranded in the streets of Prague.
